MANY NEW ADDS FOR 4/15

It's time for a very sizable batch of new adds on Awfully Awesome 80's! Here we go...

Top 40:

1. Miami Sound Machine - Falling In Love(Uh-Oh) - '86(the single remix, not the album!)
2. Shirley Murdock - As We Lay - '87
3. Robbie Patton - Don't Give It Up - '81
4. Janet Jackson - The Pleasure Principle - '87
5. ABC - The Look Of Love(Part 1) - '82
6. ABC - (How To Be A) Millionaire - '86
7. David Bowie - Day-In Day-Out - '87
8. Eric Carmen - Make Me Lose Control - '88
9. Kool And The Gang - Stone Love - '87
10. Rick Pinette And Oak - King Of The Hill - '80
11. Get Wet - Just So Lonely - '81
12. Patrick Simmons - So Wrong - '83
13. Timothy B. Schmit - Boys Night Out - '87

Bottom 45's/Requests/MTV "Blip On The Radar" Artists:

15. Rough Trade - All Touch - '82
16. James Ingram And Patti Austin - How Do You Keep The Music Playing - '83
17. Patti Austin - Every Home Should Have One - '83 - remix version
18. David Bowie - Underground - '86
19. Orange Juice - Flesh Of My Flesh - '83(remember Edwyn Collins of "A Girl Like You" 90's fame?)
20. The Waitresses - I Know What Boys Like - '82
21. Janet Jackson - Come Give Your Love To Me - '83
22. Drivin' N' Cryin' - Can't Promise You The World - '88
23. Intimate Strangers - Let Go - '87(it was in the movie "My Demon Lover")
24. DNA - Doctors Of The Universe - '83(Rick Derringer and Carmine Appice's mix of AOR, prog and new wave)
25. Frozen Ghost - Should I See - '87
26. Frozen Ghost - Round And Round - '88
27. Frozen Ghost - Step By Step - '88

Why the love for Frozen Ghost? Dale, who runs the "I Want My MTV" Facebook group, is a fan of the Six Million Dollar Man/Bionic Woman series and movies, and #27 was in the '89 "Bionic Showdown" movie(it featured Sandra Bullock in one of her first on-screen roles, as a cyborg). He requested it and he occasionally promotes my station in his group, so it's the least I can do; I also figured it would be a good time to throw in the group's 2 best-known U.S. tracks.

Tune into the station at http://awfullyawesomeeighties.com, join in our chat room, and look for the link to our Facebook group while you're there! You can also find us on Tunein.com, Nobex Radio(free apps for Google Play, Itunes and Blackberry), Reciva Radio, etc.

The hits and misses will keep on coming! Heck, this weekend I may get a bit dopey and add some long-forgotten tracks from Commander Cody, The Slickee Boys, The Finders and Joe "King" Carrasco!
